Mercy, Oh Guru within!

It has been time enough
That you've had a good laugh

At my stupidity, misery, helplessness
And frustration, of life being in a mess

Have you no mercy
While watching all that there's to see?

Many lives have been spent
In eagerness and quest

Still, do you pay no heed
To my sincere deed?

These
rotten things I recall
And
pitfalls that befall

You say are from time unknown
From the seeds I've sown!

The dark nights, Oh! what a scary sight
Won't you please be the guiding light?

I can't just stay in a corner and pray
Unless you save me a day...

I know thats the only way
I know thats the only way

Bhatta, what an Awesome set of lines you've written. From the past few days, these are just the same feelings i've been having!!! Just wanted to say "Guruji daya karo..." and you just said it!!! Thank You! Bhatta!

Some words struck me as I was driving to office today, listening to some chants. Thanks for reminding "guruji dayaa karo, man mein aan baso" and, yes, for the flattering remarks :)
