The final countdown

After a long wait, the countdown finally begins for my last days at work. I resigned few minutes back and will be counting days till July 31, 2006.

Coincidentally, when I step out on July 31st, I'll have completed 5 yrs and 9 months at this workplace, while my prior experience also totals to 5 yrs and 9 months! Quite strange an occurrence I thought it to be, this morn!

Anyway, currently I'm in mixed feelings... more emotional though. I've made some of my best friends here; its been a second family. I've also learnt some of my best lessons here! Bangalore has given so much of what I wanted and streamlined some of my future. I'm not sure I'll be able to burn the bridges behind me...

Me can understand how it feels when you leave a place that you've been associated with for so long.

Been thru it once, and Me can definitely say it wasn't comforting at all.

Friends - Its been a very short acquaintance on my front - but this group we have is among the best that Me's had till date. Miss you, Me will.

Am sure you'd rock the way you do, where ever you go. Wish life has the very best in store for you!

Me.

Reading thru your post, this is the song that came to my mind.

Its the same song that scrolled my mind when Me sang to myself the last few minutes in my previous organization:

"Teri duniya se, hoke majboor chala..
Mein bahuth door, bahuth door
bahuth door chala...

Me.

But there is one observation i wish to add. That you really need not burn the bridges. Or perhaps you were talking about the "moh".

Yes, bhatta is the oldest and probably the guy who started and steered the group!!!

i agree to what radha says, this is the best crowd there could be!!! for me specially. i was asked once "what drives you to get up on a monday morning and come to office?", you know what flashed across? (of course i did not voice it out!!!)...you guys, the friends here!!!

it sure has been a lot of fun and it'll be great to recall many of the moments. bhatta, you'll surely be missed da.

Thanks Rao, I'm not really sure what I meant either. It was in the moment, call it *moh*, accessibility, reach, insanity, whatever... I just can't be sure right now. On the other hand, maybe, things will not change at all! Who knows!
