81: If Truth is a pathless land, falsehood is an endless and landless path.
(Truth is a pathless land, says JK. But so is falsity, or so does it seem anyway, doesn't it? On second thoughts, however, falsity is a landless path! It has no ground, or substratum as Vedanta terms it, to rest itself and so it is, even literally, landless. Each statement of untruth is followed by many false statements of covering up the act. To that effect, falsity is also endless. To sum up, if truth is a pathless land, falsehood is an endless and landless path.)
